Hellfire I/II missiles are the USA’s preferred aerial anti-armor missile, and are widely deployed with America’s allies. All use semi-active laser guidance as their base mode. They equip its helicopter fleets (AH-64, AH-1, OH-58D, MH-60S/R), AH-64 and S-70 helicopters flown by its allies, and even Australia and France’s Eurocopter Tiger attack helicopters. Range is officially listed as 9,000 meters, or about 5.6 miles.

This GMS 2000 model aeroplane engine was made into a cutaway by myself for a customer, the customer wanted the engine made into a cutaway to display with his collection of other model RC aeroplane engines. All of the internal parts are free to move and rotate by hand. Please contact me if you have any questions or if you would like a quote for a similar cutaway model.
These illustrations show two classical illustration techniques. At the top a ghosted (or phantom) cutaway, and below, a partially sectioned cutaway (conventional red sectioned areas) where only certain parts of the subject have been sectioned. This done to emphasise certain parts of the subject, in this case the bulb, the reflector profile, the batteries, connectors and switch.
